I can’t see my car so I guess I’ll play something

No, David Copperfield did not come to my house, however about a foot and a half of frozen precipitation did. Needless to say, the recent winter maelstrom that throttled the Northeast into frigid tundra left all of the CGL members with an extra excuse to do what we probably would have done anyway…

Mindpress aka “The hobo with a new home” dabbled in some Fallout 3 briefly, but for the most part it appeared (to my eyes at least) that he caught himself up on movies and/or shows. I would elaborate further but that’s all my Xbox would tell me.

Fat Satan and Zoltan spent a decent amount of time delving into the Saboteur, which I’m not really sure when it will get covered since our next show is exclusively GOTY involved. The game seems decent and the reviews have been solid, so we’ll have to look forward to hearing their impressions. Fat Satan also played some more LEGO Rock Band, but I will not bash him while he’s not here to defend himself. He might stab me with something that’s most likely on fire, like his tail. Or what we think is his tail.

Dakman PUT DOWN MW2 and played more Assassin’s Creed 2 than I thought he was physically capable of. What else is there to say? Dakman PUT DOWN MW2. I could type that sentence all day, but would still stare at it with the same shock as when I first found out there was no Santa Claus, which was about 2 years ago.

I played a lot of MW2, some 1 vs 100, the deleted Road to Ruins scene from Gears of War 2 (short, decent, but understandable in its removal) and some co-op demo action with Zoltan in the Army of Two: The 40th Day. My hopes weren’t high for this, but I have to say it’s surprisingly good and rather improved, in the demo at least. If you have time to let the almost 2 gig download finish, I’d recommend looking into it if you have a buddy who’s interested (it’s 2 player only).

Look forward to January 2nd, for the GOTY episode and lots of pinching, eye poking and nefarious misbehavior.
